Update: May 19, 2010
From: Thibodeau, Clay
Subject: Ontario Congregations' Records More Accessible Online
The Central Conferences Archives of the United Church of
Canada is very pleased to announce an addition to our online
databases. Congregational records from Bay of Quinte,
Hamilton, London, Manitou, and Toronto Conferences are now
searchable online to the file level.
The Archives database is available here:
http://archives.united-church.ca/archives.htm
Use a keyword search, or choose the advanced search option, to
find the congregation you are interested in. Click “view full
record” and look for the blue link to the finding aid. Click
this and you’ll see a finding aid, just as if you were in our
reading room.
The Archives hopes to make research more convenient and
accurate through the use of technology, and we will continue
to develop our online presence. A special thank you goes to
Central Conferences Archives Assistant, Thomas Mannell, for
his work to make these finding aids accessible. |
